We make this an "Out and back" but you could park a car anywhere along this route to shorten or lengthen your ride. This is an excellent fairly flat ride along the Truckee river most of the way. Starting at the Patagonia parking lot head east along paved path. You will cross a foot/bike bridge which brings you out to Mayberry Dr. Cross road and enter Doskstar (sp?) park and head east on trail. About 1/2 mile the trail splits. Do not cross the bridge but stay on the paved trail to the right. This puts you back out on Mayberry. Follow Mayberry down to Edgewater Prkwy (appx 1 mile) and turn left (just before S. McCarran).
Edgewater "T's" into Riverhaven but just across the street is the entry to the pedestrian/bike path. Follow this path east keeping river on your left through Crissy Caughlin Park and onto Idelwild Dr. Continue east on Idelwild and enter Idlewild park (Latamore Dr) following bike trail and river on your left. This will eventually put you back out on Idlewild very briefly. Turn left and cross river on Booth St. Turn right and follow river, now on your right, into dowtown Reno's "River park". Return along same route.
S. McCarran to West on W.4th St. Left on Woodland cross RR tracks and turn right on White Fir (Patagonia Outlet is on your left). Just before the bridge turn left into parking lot (Behind Patagonia wharehouse) as this is the start point.
